A Park Gate motorist has been fined and banned from the roads after drink driving.
Stewart Andrew James pleaded guilty to having 57 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath while driving a Peugeot 206 along Southampton Road in Titchfield Common. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
The 21-year-old of Beacon Way admitted the offence, which happened on July 14, when he appeared at Fareham Magistrates Court.
He was disqualified from driving for 12 months, was fined £160 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £85.
