Two burglaries in Locks Heath on the same night have been linked by police.
Thieves entered addresses in Hood Close and Honeysuckle Close overnight between last Wednesday (August 21) and Thursday (August 22).
In Hood Close, the thieves went in through an open ground floor window and stole a black Samsung notebook computer and a silver iPod Nano.
A Toshiba laptop, a blue Mulberry handbag and a black handbag containing a purse was stolen, when access was gained through an open rear door in Honeysuckle Close.
Police are appealing for anybody who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: “We would also like to remind residents to keep all ground floor windows and doors locked and secure overnight.”
